One of the events I wanted to note from last year was the Rain Gutter Regatta. This was a new Cub Scout event for us since our last, more chilly location, did not have a local pool club to host the event.
Anton had to figure our how to plow his sail and not laugh which cost him many races!
It is hard to not laugh when he starts in on those hearty laughs!
Our secret weapon ended up being Isabella.
I guess those Schubert Voice Lessons have really worked.
She had very good breath control and won nearly all her races - 4 in a row.
Well, Karl thought maybe he should take on his little girl. She started out strong, but having just smoked 5 races, she was getting a little winded. As Karl caught up to her the other Dads began to blow against his sail to make it a little more even!

When we returned to Scouts in the Fall, Isabella won a ribbon for all the races she won!
She was very excited!
