The snow prediction came in at 3 -5 inches just days before the holiday break for most children. However, the timing of the snow pushed our traditional school friends to have a day off so they would not be on the road during the high points of the flurries.
I snapped this shot and realized I had not updated everyone to the status of the fort. Karl only has a door to build, finish screening the rafter areas, and we need to gravel the base. It is really getting some use though without the remaining items.
Since the snow was not that deep, the children had to get a running start to get themselves flying down the hill.
Oh well! It is still fun to goof off in snow!
