A Word play with Nature

Nature has been awaken!

Out of the slumber of winter,

blades of grass have emerged from the ground.

Bringing the hopes of the bounty,

For all creatures living here and now.

From the mouse in the wood pile,

to the geese and deer on the land,

No one has been more curious,

as to what I have got planned.

Than Mr. Ground Hog,

who has emerged from his hole;

To find his surroundings

have been changed from before.

New smells in the air,

those dogs have gotten larger,

He must dig more escape routes,

to make his capture all the more harder.

Our neighbor is frustrated,

Until we locate the source.

Laughter emerges as it is discovered,

He has broken the rules on his course.

Man must call before digging,

out of courtesy or fines,

But wildlife gets a way with

breaking laws and lines!
